GSL Drama - The LOL Menace

As mentioned in another post in this blog, I joined Team LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOers in x360a.org's GSL VII. Our mission was to LOL and maybe even cause a little drama ourselves by doing that. Most people experienced our gif madness week one of the GSL. This was working fine until other people not Team LOL started posting gifs too. Most of their gifs were out of context, while ours conveyed meaning, win, and most importantly LOLs. Unfortunately it became gif overload, and dear Minty ordered a stop to it. We have been able to sneak some in since then but our gif parade is over. I don't remember much else about week 1. I think there was some drama but when you just LOL about it, it doesn't much matter.

Week two definitely had some drama and it set up the drama for this coming week of the GSL. I Crush ALL scored 20 something thousand points bringing them within 2k of The Mighty KoTOR. It was unexpected by everyone including KOTOR I think. Well, apparently Mister Crush is a bit of a bad boy. He was a gamertag named Mike and Micah in another life. This tag was GSL VI's MVP until his card was looked at and it became obvious he was a gamesaver.

So Mister Crush broke 2 rules, he's a former gamesaver and he's a second account. He also apparently was doing some shady preloading of games by playing offline and saving the game right before the achievement pops, backing up that save, and then popping the achievement. He would then recover his account after the game was done bringing his total points back to 0 for that game. While it's not outright cheating, you enter a gray area probably not debated yet in the gamerscore community. This method should be avoided in my opinion though because it is to close to gamesaving to be able to tell a difference.

So week three started yesterday and Team LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOers is looking forward to more drama, because that is what the GSL does... provide drama no matter what site or what rules.
