200k - The Race Is Won and Drama Llama returns!

I needed a victory anthem but all the good ones are taken. So when it comes to gamerscore...I want it all baby! Congrats...victory anthem....what is going on Fro? Well, Mister Questioning Voice, I hit 200 mf'n k.

Well after winning the bet with Blind, I pushed myself for 200k to win the race with Omega Deez. My 200k versuses his 192,562. After playing Disney's Up, Monsters Vs Aliens, Spyro, UFC, Boggle, Wallace & Gromit, and finishing Force Unleashed....I am wore out. So what achievement did I hit 200k with?

I am unsure what game I will have Omega buy me since I won the race. Open to suggestions. I want to thank friends that have helped me along the way. I bought an xbox on 9-25-07, Halo 3 Launch Day.

I started the x360a GSL at 6360 points on 11-16-07. I scored almost 54k over the next 3 months to win x360a GSL V MVP.

I hit 100k on 7-29-2008. That was 10 months and 4 days after I got my xbox..I did 93,640 in 8 months and 13 days from when I became a point whore.

By hitting 100k, I beat Hammer x360a in our race.

I hit 200k on 5-30-2009. I did my 2nd 100k in 10 months and 1 day, 3 days after than my 1st.

It took me 20 months and 5 days to hit 200k.

I averaged 326.79 points per a day since 9-25-07.

I was the 39th member of the x360a 100k club. I will be the 11th member of the 200k club.

I have 151 Retail Completions and 36 Arcade Completions.

I am the #1 legit person in Georgia in Gamerscore.

Bet/Race Update 2 - The Final Countdown

I am on the last day of the bet. I am sitting at 4595 and only need 705 more points until Blind is watching Star Trek. Last night I played Night At The Museum and Terminator Salvation. Talk about a waste of money. 100 dollars for 6 hours of gameplay. I finish Night within 2 and a half hours and Terminator in 3 and a half. Terminator was a lackluckster cover and flank shooter that was rushed out to be on the shelves when the movie came out.

I also finished up the story of Monsters Vs Aliens and tackled the Halo Wars DLC. Talk about another waste of money. 10 dollars for 3 rulesets with a download size of 2mb. I knew when I heard about how gung ho MS was going for DLC last gen, that is where we would be. Paying 5-10 bucks for what used to be free on the PC.

Today I am going to tackle NBA Street Homecourt to finish the Bet and probably start on DDR3 or finish MvA to continue on into finishing my race. Oh and I am 5th I think in the Fshguy mega challenge. Doubt I can keep up with these low score guys though.

The Bet/Race Update 1 - Here Comes The Pain

As you all know, I am in race to 200k with Omega Deez and I have a bet to hit 194.5k by Thursday. I decided to throw some content on the site with updates on the score and thoughts about the games I am playing. As of right now I have 1035 points out of the 5300 I need to force Blind into seeing Star Trek. Last night I played a little Monsters Vs Aliens doing 1 chapter and I finished up the 500 something odd points I had in Sonic's UGC. Today I did the play so many days achievements in BIA and I am working on the 3rd chapter of MvA as we speak.

Monsters Vs Aliens is a intriguing game. I can see why people enjoy it but I can only tolerate the game in small doses. Hence me playing a chapter at a time and something in between. I have sitting here ready to go the Fallout 3 PC DLC, the other 800 or so points in Star Wars Force Unleashed, Spiderwick Chronicles, NBA Street Homecourt, DDRU3, BIA Hell's Highway, Raiden Fighter Aces, SBK Superbikes, & Bully. I also have HSM3 Dance on the way and I am trying to track down a copy of Night At The Museum. 200k here I come.

Lack of Faith

Randy Thor and The Gamertag Formly Known As Blind lack faith in the Fro. Last night they started taunting me claiming that even given until Saturday that I could not reach 194500 Gamerscore. I decided to turn their taunts into a bet. The final details are that I have to reach 194.5k by Thursday. If I do, Blind has to go see Star Trek in the movie theater. If I don't, I will have to buy a Lil' Wayne cd and listen to it. Blind has been badmouthing Star Trek since he heard of the movie and I have been bad mouthing Lil' Wayne since I found out Blind would perform felatio on him.

I recently had the joy... nay the esteemed pleasure of playing the newly released Leisure Suit Larry game; Box Office Bust. A week before I started playing LSL:BOB, for now on known as The Pile, Randy Thor sent the game back to gamefly without even trying it based on complaints by the Deez himself, Omega. I did not heed these omens and in fact, ribbed Rand constantly for being a "wussy". Little did I know the pain I was about to suffer.

Leisure Suit Larry has always been about the lovable loser trying to smooze his way into some out of his league chick's pants. This game is more about making dick/fart jokes while suffering horrible 3d platforming. Imagine a 3d platformer where the ledge grabbing mechanics only work half the time if even that. Also imagine that no matter what you don't seem to jump the same height everytime. Invisible boxes and ledges send you flying to ground as you hit or land on them. And imagine all of that with the worst camera in a 3d game since the playstation era. You have just imagined Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust.
